Addition to Summary.

I have finished pre production on a few ideas,
the production phase will begin within this week.
Post production will be announced rather than scheduled.

*Pre production.
1. Form, Content,and Idea.
A. The grid
a. Still lifes
-Objects from my home that will symbolize masculinity or femininity.
1. Alone the paintings will not be able to say much, but when grouped together I am hoping to make it easy for the viewer to understand that these objects come with subconscious thoughts of gender.

B. Diptych

- Clips of characters from T.V. shows that compare masculine
and feminine qualities.
1. Side by side clips of a character, being masculine in one and feminine in the other, will make it easy for the viewer to understand the role of gender that is instilled through pop culture.
2. The clips will target t.v. shows from the 90's, because I am most familiar with them and am exploring my idea of gender.

C. Triptych(still working on this one)
b. photography
- Three photographs will explore masculinity, femininity, and androgyny.
1. After conducting an interview about what activities feel masculine, feminine, and gender neutral with a subject I will as them to participate in the activity then take a formal portrait.
2. The portraits will be arranged left to right. masculine to feminine.
3. the subjects for these photos must feel that in their self all three genders are present.
4. the viewer will be able to see a certain physical and emotional difference in the subject though photography.

-The Drawing will explore the masculine and feminine succession of a single activity in which the gender fluctuates.
